Environmental Policy
Mega Uranium Ltd (Mega) is committed to undertaking all phases of its business activities in an environmentally responsible manner and, through effective management practices, aims to minimise environmental impacts at every stage of work.
Mega will strive to ensure that there is continuous improvement in environmental performance, including ongoing communication and active reporting with relevant stakeholders and continuous learning from experience.
To achieve this, Mega will:
-
comply with all relevant legislation, licences and regulations and with other requirements to which the company subscribes;
-
minimise negative impacts we may have on the environment, through efficient use of resources and reduction in waste, including reuse and recycling where practicable;
-
promote environmental awareness amongst all staff to achieve agreed environmental outcomes and build a strong environmental ethos;
-
listen and be responsive to government authorities and the general community on environmental issues; and
-
consult with relevant stakeholders to continually improve its environmental practices and processes.
All employees are required to follow the requirements of Mega's Environmental Management System in the performance of their tasks to ensure this policy is supported and maintained. This policy will be communicated to our employees, customers, suppliers and subcontractors and is available to the public via Mega's website - www.megauranium.com.
